25 Years of Impact on Our Community: Read our 2021 Annual Report
May 24, 20222021 marked the 25th year since the creation of The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey through the 1996 sale of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center to St. Barnabas Corporation. 2021 was also a crucial year for our sector, as the second year of the global pandemic saw healthcare and social service organizations continuing to adapt to the challenges brought by COVID-19.
Our 2021 Annual Report highlights how our founders and history propel us forward, and how our grantees are addressing today’s challenges. In the report, we celebrate The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey’s first 25 years with stories and images of our history, our heritage, our leaders, and most importantly, the grantees we have supported in their critical work. Moving into the present, the report also features the vital work our 2021 grantees are doing to improve the health and well-being of the greater Newark and Jewish MetroWest communities.
