HFNJ’s 2023 Impact Report Highlights a Year of Partnership with the Community

2023 was a momentous year for The Healthcare Foundation of NJ, as we engaged in deep listening to better understand the community’s needs, learned how we can best be helpful and then moved to action. We took a partial pause in grantmaking for one quarter to refresh internal operations; engaged in a listening tour and hosted roundtables with grantees; and witnessed the rise in behavioral health support to in our 2023 giving in response to urgent community needs.

Our 2023 Impact Report, Listening, Learning, and Leading, tells the story of the work we have done in 2023. It features stories of the innovative and life-changing work our grantees undertook throughout the year to provide quality healthcare for the communities they serve in Newark and its environs and Greater MetroWest.

While this report captures what we have done over the past year, we recognize that our work is far from done.  We look forward to continuing to work with you as we support access to quality healthcare in our communities.
